This repository contains the relevant data corresponding to the article "Zeolites fit for a Crown: Probing Host-Guest Interactions with Thermogravimetric Methods".
This readme file contains an explanation of the contents of the directories within this folder, and describes the information within the contained files.


Directory "Article Figures"
Contains .tiff files of all the images included in the published article

Directory "DTA Data"
Includes excel files for the differential thermal analysis (DTA) data obtained on the four zeolites samples, zeolite RHO (RHO), zeolite ZK-5 (KFI), zeolite Na-X (FAU) and zeolite EMC-2 (EMT).
The directory also contains a sub-directory "18-crown-6 5K DTA", which contains excel files corresponding to the DTA data for the 18-crown-6 ether sample.

Directory "PXRD data"
Includes .uxd files containing the raw powder x-ray diffraction data data of the samples relevant for four zeolite samples reported in the published article's supplementary.
There is also an origin project files containing the powder x-ray diffraction data from the .uxd files and the graphs made using the data.

Directory "TG Data"
Contains the relevant thermogravimetric (TG) and mass spectrometry (MS) data for the published article.
Within are multiple sub-directories, pertaining to each scan that was run.

"18-crown-6 (Air)" - contains excel files for the TG and MS data obtained at different ramp rates (2K/min, 5K/min and 10K/min). It also contains an excel file for the calculation of the activation energy of decomposition.

"Blank Crucible (Air)" - contains the TG data for the blank crucible, relevant for mass calculations and to test the data observed in zeolite EMC-2 - stated in the article.

"Cs - 18C6 B2 TRACK (Air)" - contains excel files of the TG and MS data for the decomposition of the Cs-18C6 complex

"EMT filled (083) (Air)" - contains excel files of the TG and MS data for zeolite EMC-2 under a constant ramp rate.

"EMT filled (083) 2Kmin (Air)" - contains excel files of the TG and MS data for zeolite EMC-2 under the edited ramping regime, holding at 180C. Ramp rate of 2Kmin

"EMT filled (083) 5Kmin (Air)" - contains excel files of the TG and MS data for zeolite EMC-2 under the edited ramping regime, holding at 180C. Ramp rate of 5Kmin. Also contains the excel file where the activation energy was calculated.

"EMT filled (083) 10Kmin (Air)" - contains excel files of the TG and MS data for zeolite EMC-2 under the edited ramping regime, holding at 180C. Ramp rate of 10Kmin

"FAU filled (025) 2Kmin (Air)" - contains excel files of the TG and MS data for zeolite Na-X under the edited ramping regime, holding at 130C. Ramp rate of 2Kmin

"FAU filled (025) 5Kmin (Air)" - contains excel files of the TG and MS data for zeolite Na-X under the edited ramping regime, holding at 130C. Ramp rate of 5Kmin. Also contains the excel file where the activation energy was calculated.

"FAU filled (025) 10Kmin (Air)" - contains excel files of the TG and MS data for zeolite Na-X under the edited ramping regime, holding at 130C. Ramp rate of 10Kmin

"K - 18C6 B2 TRACK (Air)" - contains excel files of the TG and MS data for the K-18C6 complex

"KFI filled (161) 2Kmin (Air)" - contains excel files of the TG and MS data for zeolite ZK-5 at a ramp rate of 2Kmin

"KFI filled (161) 10Kmin (Air)" - contains excel files of the TG and MS data for zeolite ZK-5 at a ramp rate of 10Kmin.

"Na 18C6 B2 Track (Air)" - contains excel files of the TG and MS data for the Na-18C6 complex.

"RHO filled (004) 2Kmin (Air)" - contains excel files of the TG and MS data for zeolite RHO at a ramp rate of 2Kmin

"RHO filled (004) 5Kmin (Air)" - contains excel files of the TG and MS data for zeolite RHO at a ramp rate of 5Kmin. Also contains the excel file where the activation energy was calculated.
